The weeping cherry tree blossoms at Seiun-ji Temple can be seen from late March to mid-April. In addition to the light pink colors of the Edohigan cherry trees that are said to be more than 600 years old, the grounds of the shrine are home to roughly 30 weeping cherry trees, including the rich pink Chichibu-benishidare cherry trees, which create spectacular scenery. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Chichibu Railway Bushu-Nakagawa Station to Seiun-ji Temple.

Also, about a 10-minute walk from Seiun-ji Temple is Chichibu Pilgrimage Site Number 29, Chosen-in Temple, where you can see the blossoms on the cherry tree known as the "Revived Cherry Tree"
